چکیده
Objective To evaluate the impact of general anesthesia (GA) combined with epidural (GAEA) on postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) and inflammatory markers in patients esophageal cancer (EC). Study Design: A randomised controlled trial. Place duration study Department Anesthesiology, Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Southwest Medical University, Luzhou, Sichuan Province, China, from August 2019 to April 2020. Methodology SPSS was used randomly divide 142 cases into two groups, namely: GA (n=71) GAEA categories. 128 candidates were this study. Cognitive function levels interleukin 6 (IL-6), 8 (IL-8), tumor necrosis α (TNF-α) serum evaluated at baseline, 1, 3 7 days after operation by Montreal Assessment (MoCA) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), respectively. Pearson correlation analysis assess interrelationships between MoCA score levels. Results Compared group (n=64), category (n=64) showed significantly higher 1 day postoperatively (all p 0.05). Conclusion Combining may reduce incidence POCD undergoing esophagectomy suppressing response. Key Words: General anesthesia, Epidural Esophageal cancer, Postoperative dysfunction, Inflammatory markers.

The Effect of General Anesthesia and Spinal Anesthesia on Quality of Recovery after Abdominal Hysterectomy; Randomised Clinical Trial
Background and Objective: The low quality of recovery after anesthesia has prolonged postoperative hospitalization time. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of general anesthesia and spinal anesthesia on quality of recovery after abdominal hysterectomy. Materials and Methods: This study is a clinical trial on 100 women 35 to 70 years with ASA class I, II who candidate to abdomi...
متن کاملBaricity of Bupivacaine on Maternal Hemodynamics after Spinal Anesthesia for Cesarean Section: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Background: After spinal anesthesia, patients undergoing cesarean section are more likely to develop hemodynamic changes. The baricity of local anesthetic has an important role on spinal blockade effects. The aim of this study was to compare the isobar and hyperbaric bupivacaine 0.5% plus fentanyl on maternal hemodynamics after spinal anesthesia for C/S.Methods: In this double-blind study, 84 h...
متن کاملCognitive dysfunction following desflurane versus sevoflurane general anesthesia in elderly patients: a randomized controlled trial
UNLABELLED As life expectancy increases, more patients ≥65 years undergo general anesthesia. Anesthetic agents may contribute to postoperative cognitive dysfunction, and incidence may differ with anesthetic agents or intraoperative anesthesia depth. Responses to anesthetic adjuvants vary among elderly patients. Processed electroencephalography guidance of anesthetic may better ensure equivalent...

OBJECTIVES The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of combined epidural analgesia with total intravenous anaesthesia and only total intravenous anaesthesia on the different clinical parameters. METHODS Sixty high risk patients undergoing a major abdominal surgical procedure were included in this prospective, double blind, randomized study. Induction of anaesthesia was performed wi...
متن کاملComparing Effects of Listening to Nature Sounds and Lavender Inhalation on Hemodynamic Parameters among Patients Undergoing Cataract Surgery with Regional Anesthesia: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Background and purpose: Candidates for cataract surgery have high anxiety and worry for various reasons which may cause changes in their hemodynamic parameters. Maintaining hemodynamic stability during anesthesia and surgery is very important. This study aimed at comparing the effects of listening to nature sounds and lavender inhalation on hemodynamic parameters in patients undergoing cataract...
